I left a poem at a random bar
It was you who got it
How did you find me
in these bleak concrete blocks
In the city I’ve been waiting to be burned
Chasing dreams of no one lately
But others want to be in my shoes so bad
Even if I keep falling here
They would never know how I'd feel
But you say,
“I love you,
I love you,
I got you,
I can't see anything but you”
It’s strange, looking at you
How a girl who used to just wanna fade
Could completely shift
Just by you breaking in
To the life where I left it all behind
I never wanted to just say “believe in love”
But staring at you,
I’m saying those cliched lines
Even if I ever shatter again,
What a wonderful world it was, with you
But you say,
“I love you,
I love you,
I got you,
I can't see anything but you”
