I stay awake while the rain comes down
The sky turns grey all over town
The light gets in but feels so dull
Like something's gone, something wrong
I look outside through blurred glass
The drops fall down and slowly pass
My phone lights up then fades away
Nothing inside me wants to stay
I pull the blanket over my head
And hide from everything instead
