Sometimes I think about my life
and all it’s funny games
A gambling man I’m not, I guarantee

But alas, I’ve things to do, life goes on

I'll spend a sunny afternoon
by waiting for city night lights
To shine before I call it a day

or the other way I’ll never know
If home, some comfort I'll raise up in prayer
If not then may your drinks be cold and strong
Another day is dead and gone

but too damn old not to know anything
I’m dumb for doing things the same as yesterday,
expecting change
Am I alone here?
Do you feel at home?
At times I don’t wanna grow up
Knowing part of me still wishes
I was young again
When did we stop playing pretend
All so simple and plain
We live and we learn somethings
are just meant to change
Nothings meant to last forever
So where will you be
heard you're leaving town
Won't have much to do
