Synopsis
|
Thunder crackles, territories split, warlords rise. The emperor worshipped by all the lands dies from assassination, triggering a war that rages on for centuries. Four vassal states divide the central territory amongst themselves and rise to power, each reigning over their respective land. The major states, Tianxuan, Tianquan, Tianshu, Tianji and Nansu, all start out as dukedoms and transition to kingdom, each with aspirations of conquering the remaining states.
After Qiu Zhen, the assassin sent by Tianxuan Kingdom, successfully kills the Juntian Kingdom's leader, he sealed himself in a coffin that allows his body to never rot, incuding reactions by four other swords.
Murong Li of Yaoguang (the direct vassal holding of the Juntian Emperor) settles in Tianquan and befriends with Zhi Ming, the lazy King of Tianquan. Jian Bin, the King of Tianji, and Ling Guang, the King of Tianxuan, are also major players in the political landscape of this exciting drama. This unique drama has a nearly entirely male cast and truly focuses on the political and military struggles between the states and monarch.
